This article aims to analyze and describe the role of school principle instructional leadership on teacher professional competence. The method this uses literature study method, namely by collecting data or sources related topic raised. findings can be concluded that are expected contribute realizing principal's leadership. Based it commonly called learning leadership, must able assume schools will improve if principal set clear academic goals, motivate staff students work towards these align progress, teaching learning. activities achieve goals. Research shows in line with curriculum, methods appropriate characteristics goals students, evaluation, supervision actions integrated a sustainable system indicators quality process.
